The Palomar MediLux IPL (Intended Pulsed Light) System was first launched by Palomar in March of 2003. The Palomar MediLux was first designed to provide increased power, a faster repetition rate and a snap-on connector making it easier for the operator to switch among hand-pieces attachments to provide individual tailored treatments.
